Immediate/Monthly
Donate monthly for ongoing, sustainable support, or donate now for immediate impact.
By becoming a monthly donor, you’re making a pledge to change the world our children and youth live in. Help create one that’s safer and where every child feels loved and respected. Your one-time donations are also highly valued. They make up the majority of our support, and that support has a direct effect on building confidence and community in our campers.

Rather not donate online? Donate by mail!

Gift of a Lifetime
Choosing to leave a gift in your will to Ten Oaks will ensure that children and youth from 2SLGBTQ+ identities, families, and communities have access to safer spaces for years to come.
Ten Oaks helps children and youth gain the confidence to become community leaders. Your charitable bequest helps to create the intentional magic that changes lives.
Leaving a Gift
Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to be wealthy in order to leave a gift in your will. After you’ve taken care of your loved ones, a gift of even 5% can make a huge difference to children and youth from 2SLGBTQ+ identities, families, and communities.

The Wagg Legacy Fund
On April 14, 2017, we said goodbye to one of the kindest, strongest, and fiercest people we’ve ever known: our co-founder and dear friend, Julia Wagg. After 14-months with leukaemia, Julia took her last breath surrounded by love and her closest family and friends here in Ottawa.
Julia and Holly founded the Ten Oaks Project in 2004. Their vision and love changed the world and gave space – and a voice – for generations of 2SLGBTQ+ children and families.
As anyone who worked with Julia at Camp Ten Oaks knows, she was a firm believer in leaving the space in better shape than when we arrived. This philosophy and practice extended to the rest of her life, and she leaves this world better for having known, loved, and been loved by her.

We once heard Julia tell someone “I live big”, and we can’t think of a better way to describe the life she lived and the legacy she leaves. Before she died, Julia set up the Wagg Legacy Fund, which is dedicated to sustaining the roots of the Ten Oaks Project and supporting our program’s growth. All donations to this fund will support direct operational costs of Camp Ten Oaks and Oak Grove Family Camp.
Julia left us with these final words which we will leave you with today:
“And what I want to say to you is this: Do not wait until someone takes your time to make living your priority. I am so glad that I have known what it means to live with intention, presence, gratitude, and grace. It’s the kind of insight that I wish I would have had inside of me years ago, and I hope you will leverage it to bring more depth and meaning to how you live now, too, and in whatever way that looks like for you.”
