Community Events - Ten Oaks

Events around town

When we’re not busy at camp, you can often find the Ten Oaks Project at a community event with one of our partners! We’ve participated in Pride picnics, co-hosted board game nights, and helped to run storytelling sessions at local libraries.

If you’re interested in partnering with the Ten Oaks Project on your next community event, make sure to contact us!

Ottawa Pride Parade

Put on your favourite camp t-shirt and come march with the Ten Oaks Project in the Ottawa Pride Parade on August 27! All are welcome to march with us: we’ll be singing camp songs and sharing our pride of belonging to magical communities.

Please meet us between 12:30 and 1:00 PM at the parade staging area (Bank Street and Gladstone Avenue) – we’ll be posting our exact meeting spot on the Facebook event once we arrive and find it on August 27.
