CampCurl 2012

CampCurl 2012

Last year's CampCurl was a resounding success and raised over $31,000 for the Ten Oaks Project. This year's CampCurl (coming up in November) will increase that fundraising to $35,000. As always, we'll need your help to get there!

Stay tuned for more details on the event and how you can get involved in November's Toronto fundraising event - by volunteering to help out, signing up with a team, donating gifts and prizes, or having your organization or company act as sponsors.

If you have any questions about this year's CampCurl or how you can get involved today, please contact Beth O'Connor at curl@tenoaksproject.org.

CampCurl 2011

Thank you to everyone who supported our third annual CampCurl at Leaside Curling Club on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Teams swept, they cheered, they hurried hard, and at the end of day, dozens of costumed curlers raised over $31,000 for the Ten Oaks Project! That's enough to send 16 campers to Camp Ten Oaks and 15 participants to Project Acorn!

Congratulations and thank you to our top fundraisers - Mark Schaan (adult), Jacob Rose (youth), and The Rolling Stones (team) - and three cheers for our Bonspiel Award winners, Willard and Company, our Best Costume Award winners, The Rolling Stones, and our Best Team Spirit Award winners, TORitos!

We'd like to thank everyone who helped to make this event such a tremendous success. We're swept away by your kindness and generosity!

About CampCurl

CampCurl is a FUNdraiser in support of the Ten Oaks Project – a volunteer-driven organization that engages and connects children and youth from LGBTQ communities. We need your help to make our programs accessible to any child or youth who wants to participate. The Ten Oaks Project runs two programs:

Camp Ten Oaks
Canada's first sleep-away camp for children (aged 8-17) of LGBTQ and/or non-traditional families, youth who are themselves LGBTQ, and their allies. Learn more about Camp Ten Oaks.

Project Acorn

A leadership retreat for youth aged 16-24 from LGBTQ communities. Learn more about Project Acorn.
