who we are

Camp Lifting Leaves is a weekend camp for children and youth from 2SLGBTQ+ identities or families who are at least 13 years old and have an active file with an Indigenous well-being or child welfare agency. We have seen a growing need for connection and community-building among children and youth that fit this description, and we are thrilled to offer a camp just for them! This program is offered by Ten Oaks Project in collaboration with agencies across Ontario.

Camp Lifting Leaves will run from October 18th – 21st, 2024! The application deadline is September 13, 2024.The registration deadline, if accepted, is September 20, 2024.

who can attend?

Camp Lifting Leaves is for children and youth from 2SLGBTQ+ identities or families who are at least 13 years old and have an active file with an Indigenous well-being or child welfare agency. Each agency that has youth attending camp must provide one chaperone (a staff member or volunteer) for every four youth who are participating, as well as any one-on-one support if necessary.
